This presentation will highlight the latest in hybrid processing including new innovations built on foundational learning from first generation hybrid machines. These new capabilities include in-situ inspection techniques and interoperability between different types of Additive Manufacturing (AM). This co-location of technologies is made practical for the first time through fully automated multi-head (multi-technology) changeover. This presentation will also offer guidance for choosing between all-in-one hybrid machine architectures and hybrid cells using separate machines for adding and subtracting metal.
