When facing the challenge of inaccessible and/or hazardous environments such as thermal-vacuum chambers, subsea, high altitude, nuclear areas or wind tunnels, usual 3D Optical Measurement Technologies cannot be implemented as is, and need further development to be deployable. However, because certain Optical 3D Measurement Technologies use sensors such as HD cameras (Photogrammetry) or laser line projection devices (Laser Triangulation) they have some great capabilities that can – most of the time – be customized to remotely access such environments.
