Business Development Manager for Composites and Additive Manufacturing

David Champa is the business development manager for composites and additive manufacturing at Ingersoll Machine Tools. He is working to continue to innovate the existing composite AFP/ATL automated equipment while Ingersoll introduces new additive manufacturing machines and tooling processes.
His history of supply chain management, business development and operations has been focused on the automation of manufacturing processes such as automated drilling, composite lamination, friction stir welding and automated fastening.
Holding management positions at Ford Aerospace, McDonnell Douglas, Boeing, M Torres, and then consulting for AIP/Ascent Aerospace has allowed him to participate in most major A&D programs and commercial programs of the last three decades.
He is a resident of Southern California and married with two children. A graduate of University of Phoenix for business management and University of California, Irvine for project management, he continues to learn through industry conferences and meetings.
He enjoys outdoor activities, especially the beach, and has a passion for fictional writing.
