Rick Copas is president of AIM Technologies LLC, a newly formed Seattle-based consultancy company providing sales, marketing and consulting services to aerospace suppliers throughout the US. Rick has more than 30 years of experience in building, installing, servicing and selling aerospace manufacturing equipment and assembly automation and has been involved in many commercial and military aerospace programs worldwide.
Rick’s applications experience includes milling, drilling, water jet trimming, flexible fixtures, tape laying and fiber placement, non-destructive inspection, fastener installation and removal, surface preparation and ablation, assembly tooling, and automated assembly systems for both composite and metallic components and structures.
Prior to his current position, Rick was a senior accounts manager for Ascent Aerospace. He has held several division-level management positions in both operations and sales during his tenure with Ingersoll Milling Machine Company, PaR Systems, and Mtorres.
Rick has extensive experience in working with commercial aerospace/space OEMs, U.S. Air Logistics Centers, DoD, DLA, DSCR, and Air Force Material Command. He served six years in the United States Marine Corps and holds a Master of Science degree in management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, WI.
