Dr. Nilsson Åhman is an enthusiastic material's engineer with an extra interest in all things related to additive manufacturing. She was working as a researcher within powder production, processing, and characterization at research institute Swerim AB for five years, before starting the position as an application engineer in powder technology and additive manufacturing at the Swedish steel company SSAB. She has PhD in biomedical engineering, where she worked with PBF-LB of magnesium alloys, focusing on the process-microstructure-properties relationship.
