Recently there have been attempts by the Chinese to buy aerospace automation technology and specifically drill and countersink end effector technology by acquiring companies including KUKA robotics and Broetje. The Chinese offerings have been well above reasonable market prices for these companies.
Concern has been expressed about these attempts by the United States government and our allies such as Germany, even though they have been thwarted in most cases. Why the concern?
